한 개, 두 개, 세 개.....별개 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

예문 보시죠.

 

ex)It is, of course, one thing to put loyal love into words; it is quite another to prove the quality in action.*

     충성스러운 사랑을 말로 표현하는 것과 그것을 행동으로 증명하는 것은 별개의 문제입니다.

 

그렇습니다. A와 B는 별개다.

A is one thing but B is another 입니다. 위의 예문에서는 주어가 길어서 가주어(it)을 놓고 뒤로 갔네요.

 

그러면 연습해 볼까요?

아는 것과 행하는 것은 별개이다.

 

 

It is one thing to know what to do but it is quite another to do that.

 

Knowing is one thing, doing is quite another.

용감한 것과 허세를 부리는 것은 별개다. 허세를 부리다:bluff

그냥 A differs from B/A is different from B or There's a difference between A and B라고 하셔도 의미상으론 큰 차이는 없다는 점~
