What kind of ending is that?

Situation: Gnomeo ran into William Shakespear in the park (actually it was his statue) while he had been chased out by the Reds. And Gnomeo told him all that had happend to himself. After listening, Shakespear said that Gnomeo's story put him in mind of another and told the ending of "Romeo & Juliet" to Gnomeo. It was quiet daunting for Gnomeo to just think that he would never see her again because that might foreshadow the ending of themselves. 

So he murmured against the death part, saying: What did you say? They both died? What kind of ending is that?

Notice that he WASN'T really asking what kind of ending he wrote, that is, whether it was a tragedy or a comedy. He was, however, sarcastic. So if I dare to translate it into Korean, it would be like "무슨 결말이 그래요?" or "뭔 놈의 결말이 그래요?"

 

So I would you like to guess the ending of this couple, Gnomeo and Juliet. Would it be a happy ending? Or would it be just like that of Romeo and Juliet of old.
